Our Motto -

"Follow the child not the curriculum"

This does not mean that your student determines on what he/she will work.  This means the student is the best resource for making learning decisions.  The student has the answers for these questions:

                1.  What materials are best for me?

                2.  Where should the instruction begin?

                3.  Are the lessons too difficult, too easy or just right?

                4.  If teaching or instruction changes are made are they working?

                5.  Am I ready to move to the next lesson?

Using structured one minute daily tests allows the student to convey the answers to these questions.

This refreshing approach is not the norm.  Traditionally, publishers, principals, search committees, curriculum coordinators, teachers, etc. have all tried to take the lead rather than follow the child.  My Learning Partners' motto is "Follow the child....."
